ACCOUNTANCY SUPPORT JOBS FAQs

The average salary for an accountancy support role is €32,000-€38,000 per annum. This, of course, will vary depending on location and experience.  

While you don’t need any formal qualifications to be an accountancy support assistant, it may help you to take a course. Either the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) or the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) to help get some insight into the role.  

You will work as a key part of any accounting and finance team with important tasks such as processing and recording transactions, preparing reports, VAT, communicating with suppliers and getting involved with projects to improve process efficiency.

You need the following skills to do well in an accountancy support position:
