Your new company

This well-established partner firm are expanding and seeking an experienced manager to join the practice. This position focused on both accounts production and people management. You will oversee the day-to-day management of the accounting team, including the bookkeeping and accounts support staff.

This firm offer full accounting services, including audit, taxation, accounts production and consultancy.
The office is based in South County Dublin and easily accessible via Luas and Train. Parking is available onsite.

Your new role

This role encompasses all facets of people management, as well as day-to-day client management.
You will be tasked with :

• Strategic planning and business management

• Client management and new client development
• Recruitment, training, delegation and performance management of a team of accountants from trainee level to qualified.
• End to end client accounting service
• Consultation
• Acting as a point of contact for any client escalations or queries and more

What you'll need to succeed

To be considered for upcoming roles, you must have a strong background working in practice accounting.

Applicants must have exposure to :

• Strong client accounting experience, previous experience managing their own clients and a team.
• People leadership, People operations, training and development
• Commercially minded with a drive to grow existing and new business
• Minimum of 4 years PQE
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Previous experience with trainee management and development of trainee and part-qualified staff.
