Hays Ireland awarded gold accreditation from the Irish Centre for Diversity

Hays Ireland has been awarded Gold status in the Investors in Diversity (IiD) accreditation by the Irish Centre for Diversity. It was one of only 11 corporates in Ireland to receives this prestigious recognition, awarded by professional advocacy group, the Irish Centre for Diversity.

The Irish Centre for Diversity works in partnership with organisations across Ireland at all stages of their equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) journey. Its award accreditation recognises corporates that have demonstrated tangible leadership in the EDI space and have embedded EDI into the DNA of the business. According to the Irish Centre for Diversity: “We want organisations to do more than just tick boxes; we want them to transform the workplace environment to one which is equitable and inclusive.”

In order to gain a ‘Gold Investors in Diversity EDI Mark’, organisations are required to conduct an in-depth self-assessment of EDI practices across five key categories. This encompasses:

  1. Diverse and Inclusive Leadership
  2. Policies, Procedures, Processes
  3. Recruitment, Retention and Progression
  4. Recording and Monitoring
  5. Impact on external diversity

Commenting on the gold status recognition, Hays Ireland director, Maureen Lynch, said:
