PROPERTY SERVICES JOBS FAQs

This will vary depending on the role and location. Facilities directors can expect salaries upwards of €75,000. Facilities managers, meanwhile, are paid €55,000 on average, whilst technical services managers will typically earn €57,500 to €65,000.

The average salary for an electrical/mechanical engineer is around €45,000-€50,000.

Environmental issues and climate challenges are at the forefront of many industries more than ever and property services is no exception. 

New building regulations are – and will continue – being introduced to combat the climate crisis and property services teams will need to be equipped to respond to these. Software solutions such as smart building sensors that control heat and lighting and systems that track energy use in real time will be increasingly implemented and property services professionals must be ready to make use of these.  

Qualifications are available from entry level (Level 2) to manager (Level 4) to senior strategic roles (levels 6 and 7) and come in the forms of certificates, diplomas and extended diplomas.
