Working Site Foreman - Refurbishment - North Dublin - 2-Year Project

Your new company

Your new organisation is a small main building contractor that specialises in residential and commercial refurbishment, mainly across North Dublin.

Their project values range from 1-5 million, and they have a trusted client base for continued projects.

Your new role

Your new role is the refurbishment of a commercial project in Clontarf that is due to run for the next 2 years. You will manage the day-to-day operations on site and liaise weekly with the client on project progress.

You will mainly operate in a management capacity, but from time to time you may need to help on the tools (mainly a managing role, however). You will have a team underneath you to support and have a strong team of subcontractors in place.

What you'll need to succeed

  • To be successful, you will need to be client-facing and able to interact directly with the client.

  • Coming from a carpentry background is an advantage but not essential.

  • Having on-site management experience is required on refurbishment or fitout projects for commercial or residential builds.
  • Day to day supervision and a high level of health and safety management are important.

What you'll get in return

In return, you will work for a small, well-respected contractor that has a nice pipeline of work based in North Dublin for the next 2+ years.

  • You will work on a very interesting project that has a contract value of over 3 million and be responsible for the progress of the job, where you will be given a lot of autonomy for the day to day and great project flexibility.
  • You will work Monday to Friday 7.30 - 4.30.
  • You will be paid on a daily rate of between €250-€350 depending on whether you're a PAYE worker or Self-Employed.
