Manufacturing Operatives – West Cork

Hays Recruitment are hiring Manufacturing Operatives for our client, a well established Timber Home Builder based in the West Cork area.

This is a hands on role suited to candidates with experience or interest in manufacturing, construction, or carpentry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cutting timber to size using hand and power tools
  • Assembling timber frame panels
  • Installing insulation into panels
  • Working from drawings and specifications
  • Adhering to health & safety procedures
  • Maintaining a clean and organised work area
Requirements
  • Valid Manual Handling Certificate (essential)
  • Previous experience in manufacturing, construction, carpentry, or a similar environment is an advantage.
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Good attention to detail
  • Willingness to engage in physical, hands on work
