Manufacturing Operative – Timber Frame Homes

Hays Recruitment is working on behalf of our client to recruit motivated Manufacturing Operatives for a busy factory environment producing high-quality timber-frame homes. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail, teamwork, and a strong commitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manual handling of timber and construction materials
  • Assembly and preparation of timber frame components in a factory setting
  • Operating tools and machinery safely and efficiently
  • Following production schedules and quality standards
  • Working as part of a team to meet deadlines
Requirements
  • ✅ Manual Handling certification (essential)
  • ✅ Previous experience in manufacturing, construction, or similar environment preferred
  • ✅ Ability to work in a fast-paced factory setting
  • ✅ Own transport (public transport is not an option)
  • ✅ Strong work ethic and reliability
