Your new role
This is a hands-on role that involves delivering training on water plant operations, including testing procedures, chemical handling, and process improvement, mentoring new recruits on essential operational processes, translating complex technical documentation into clear, accessible training materials, and collaborating closely with the Operations team to enhance the effectiveness and consistency of training delivery. Candidates should be comfortable providing mentorship to approximately 10 individuals, including conducting regular check-ins and tracking progress. Strong coordination skills are essential for managing training sessions in collaboration with other business areas, along with maintaining accurate attendance records and follow-up documentation. Proficiency in internal systems and Microsoft Office tools is needed to log activities and support day-to-day operations. Experience supporting remote training delivery via Zoom or similar platforms is also required.

In this role, you’ll need proven experience delivering technical or process-based training, along with strong communication skills that enable you to simplify complex information effectively. High proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Excel is essential. Experience working in highly regulated, compliance-driven industries is required, with a preference for candidates from the utilities or pharmaceutical sectors. Familiarity with Work & Asset Management Systems such as Maximo, and handheld units, is a distinct advantage. You should be comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, and have access to your own laptop suitable for training delivery. A full, clean driving licence and access to a car are necessary, as nationwide travel (2–3 days per week) is required. Initial training will be office-based. Remote work is supported up to two days per week. Occasional overnight stays may be required depending on location.

What you'll get in return
Flexible working options available. You will be joining a fantastic semi-state service provider.
