Trainee Accountant Opportunity with a Successful Company in Co. Mayo

Your new role
In this role, you will participate in a wide range of projects and tasks within the site’s Finance department. You’ll be responsible for preparing and completing weekly management accounts, including manufacturing-related analysis, and assisting with monthly financial accounts covering capital expenditure, cost tracking, and return analysis. You will provide analytical support and decision-making insights to both the commercial and operations teams, contribute to regular reporting and presentations for management, and actively support continuous improvement and efficiency within the Finance function. Additionally, you will assist the Financial Controller with reporting duties, ad hoc queries, and specific project assignments as needed. Your new role will be fully on-site in Co. Mayo.

What you'll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you should hold a Level 7 qualification in Accounting & Finance, Business Studies, or a related field. You will have a strong ambition and commitment to pursue a professional accountancy qualification. You should be capable of working both independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication skills and a proactive, positive attitude. A solid academic background with a proven track record of achievement and delivery is essential, along with strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
