Your new role
You will assist staff members at different levels and gain exposure to a wide range of accounting tasks. Responsibilities include:

• Input data using various software packages (Sage, Excel, QuickBooks Online)
• Set up bank payments
• Raise sales invoices
• Record receipts and reconcile cash/credit card transactions
• Prepare VAT returns
• Assist in periodic management accounts
• Assist in preparation of year-end accounts
• Prepare and monitor cash flows and budgets
• Compile year-end accounts files
• Assist in managing tour accounts for clients

What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will have 1–2 years of experience in an accountancy practice. They will be working towards an ACCA or ACA qualification and ideally possess experience using QuickBooks Online and Sage accounts production. Key attributes include strong attention to detail, being self-motivated and proactive, and the ability to work under pressure while managing multiple tasks effectively. Excellent time management and prioritisation skills, a problem-solving mindset, and the ability to maintain confidentiality at all times are essential for success in this role. There is an expectation to work onsite for the initial probationary period, moving to hybrid thereafter.
