Tender and Procurement Administrator | €35-45k | 6-month contract (potential to extend) | Cork City | Hybrid

Your new company

Your new company are a leading organisation within the utilities industry. They are committed to growth, innovation, and sustainability continues to be top of their agenda. Our client operates nationwide and is recognised for delivering essential infrastructure and operational services. They are now looking for a Tender & Procurement Administrator to join their Indirect Procurement team on a 6‑month contract basis, with strong potential for extension.

Your new role

In this busy and fast‑paced environment, you will support tendering, purchasing, and general procurement administration across a wide range of operational categories. You will assist with tender documentation, compliance checks, supplier engagement, purchase order approvals, and the preparation of materials for stakeholder meetings. You will also support wider Supply Chain initiatives such as sustainability projects and the integration of AI tools into tendering and work closely with legal, suppliers, and field‑based teams. This is a collaborative position with great opportunity to take ownership as tasks and projects are handed over.

What you'll need to succeed

You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with strong organisational and time‑management abilities. You will be confident working independently as well as part of a team. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is essential, and experience in a highly regulated or compliance administration role is required. Desirable experience includes: Knowledge of procurement or buying processes. Familiarity with Oracle, SAP, SharePoint, ServiceNow, or similar systems. Understanding of public procurement (advantage, not essential). An interest in developing a career in supply chain or tender administration. You will be enthusiastic, proactive, easy to work with, and comfortable operating in a dynamic, high‑volume environment.
