Temporary receptionist with the possibility to move to Perm

Your new role

As the Temporary Receptionist, you will act as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, ensuring a warm, professional welcome at all times. This is a varied position where you will support both reception and general office administration. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Managing the front desk and greeting visitors
  • Handling incoming calls, emails, and enquiries
  • Scheduling appointments and coordinating meeting room bookings
  • Managing incoming/outgoing post and deliveries
  • Maintaining office supplies and supporting office coordination
  • Preparing documents, updating records, and assisting with administrative tasks as required
  • Ensuring the reception area remains tidy, organised, and presentable
This is a temporary role with the potential to move to permanent for the right person.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Previous experience in a reception or administrative role
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise in a busy office
  • Proficiency with MS Office and general office systems
  • A professional, reliable, and customer‑focused approach
