Your new company

Your new role

This role involves identifying and assessing Irish tax credits, grants, and incentive schemes, and advising business units on how to structure activities to meet eligibility criteria. It serves as a subject-matter expert on RD&I tax credits, the Knowledge Development Box (KDB), and other innovation-related tax regimes. The position includes modeling the financial impact of tax reliefs and grant funding, tracking and forecasting claims, and maintaining audit-ready documentation. It requires close collaboration with internal teams such as R&D, Legal, and Government Affairs, as well as external advisors and agencies, to ensure accurate financial claims and compliance. Additionally, the role involves preparing briefings for senior leadership and staying up to date with legislative changes to assess their implications for the organisation. This is a one-year initial contract, with scope for extension.

What you'll need to succeed

The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Taxation, or a related field, with 3–5 years of experience in financial analysis or tax advisory, particularly in Irish tax incentives. They should demonstrate strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills, with proven ability to collaborate across functions and manage multiple priorities. Expertise in Revenue’s R&D tax credit regime, the Knowledge Development Box (KDB), and grant processes is essential, along with familiarity with IDA Ireland, Enterprise Ireland, and intellectual property regulations. Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and project management tools is required, and professional certifications such as ACA, ACCA, or CTA are preferred. Strong interpersonal skills, adaptability, and a structured approach to communication and planning are key to success in this role.

What you'll get in return

This role offers a flexible hybrid working model, providing a healthy work-life balance while gaining valuable experience within a highly regarded organisation. Employees benefit from a supportive and engaging work environment, with access to a range of initiatives focused on wellbeing, development, and collaboration. This is a one year initial contract, with scope for extension.
