Structural Engineer vacancy with a well known consultancy in Limerick
Your new company
Our client is an established consulting engineering company with locations in Ireland and the UK. They have an excellent reputation and have worked on various projects including environmental, educational, commercial and industrial developments, civil and structural, mechanical and electrical, environmental impact assessment, planning services, water services, flood risk assessments and flood alleviation works.
Your new role
You will be required to join a busy structural team who are now seeing a pickup in projects. The successful candidate would join our structures sector, which is responsible for a broad range of commercial, industrial and institutional buildings and developments. Undertake design elements for projects to current regulations and design standards. Manage the production of drawings and reports. Co-ordinate work with engineers of other disciplines. Attend meetings with clients, other consultants and contractors during the course of projects. Ensure production of deliverables to agreed timelines.
What you'll need to succeed
You'll be required to have a Level 8 Honours Degree qualification in Civil/Structural Engineering. Chartered or working towards Chartered status is highly desired. You will have at least 5 years experience working on a range of projects. Reinforced concrete, structural steel and timber design experience are all necessary. You’ll be required to have the ability to work on your own initiative and have a desire to learn and develop their skills and knowledge.
