Strategic HR Business Partner - 18 month FTC – Up to €85k DOE

Your new role

As a Strategic HR Business Partner, you will work closely with senior leadership to design and implement a people strategy that supports organisational goals and transformation priorities. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will play a central role in driving cultural change, employee engagement, and organisational effectiveness.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Partnering with senior leaders to align people strategy with business objectives
  • Leading and embedding change and transformation initiatives
  • Driving workforce planning, organisation design, and capability development
  • Providing expert advice on complex HR, organisational, and cultural matters
  • Supporting leadership development, talent management, and succession planning
  • Collaborating with HR specialists to deliver integrated people solutions
  • Promoting best practice and contributing to continuous improvement within the HR function
  • Coaching and mentoring team members where required.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Extensive experience in a HR Business Partner role
  • A third-level HR qualification or equivalent (CIPD Desirable*)
  • Experience in the Utilities/Energy/Semi-State Sector in an HR capacity is desirable.
  • A proven track record in leading change and organisational transformation
  • Strong expertise in organisation design, workforce planning, and change management
  • A strategic mindset with the ability to translate business needs into people-focused solutions
