Daily Rate: €550 - €600
Location: Dublin (3 days onsite mandatory)
Contract: Initial 6 months
Eligibility: Open to Stamp 4 holders / EU citizens / UK citizens based in Dublin only


Your new role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Solutions Architect to join a dynamic Risk Technology team within a major financial services organisation. This is an exciting opportunity to design mission-critical applications in a high-impact environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and document innovative solutions to address complex business challenges.
  • Define and enforce architectural standards, coding best practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Lead hands-on development of proof-of-concepts and R&D initiatives to validate new technologies.
  • Collaborate closely with risk, compliance, and engineering teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Create clear technical documentation, UML diagrams, and workflows for a variety of stakeholders.
  • Advise on technology choices, vendor evaluations, and cost-benefit analyses related to risk systems.
  • Mentor engineering teams on secure, resilient, and scalable architecture design.


What you'll need to succeed

  • 5+ years in solution architecture or a closely related role.
  • Expertise in microservices and SOA design within containerised environments.
  • Experience with high-volume ETL and data processing pipelines.
  • Strong background in designing polyglot systems with RDBMS (SQL Server/PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB).
  • Skilled in RESTful and GraphQL APIs, and asynchronous messaging (Redis Streams, Kafka).
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills, including UML and Visio proficiency.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences clearly.
  • Experience with TimeSeries databases (e.g., Prometheus).
  • Familiarity with graph databases such as Neo4j or TigerGraph.
  • Hands-on Python coding skills.
  • Agile methodology experience.

What you'll get in return

  • Day rate contract – 500–600 euros per day
