Your new company

Our client now has a requirement for two Site Managers for construction projects in Galway and Mayo. Experience in commercial, residential, retail, education projects would all be a benefit. Immediate opportunities available.

• Oversee construction projects from beginning to end.
• Determine the necessary equipment, materials, and workforce needed.
• Keep track of inventory, tools and equipment.
• Ensure materials and equipment are ordered and delivered according to schedule.
• Resolve any problems that may arise.
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety Legislation.
• Ensure compliance with BCAR and manage submissions.
• Collaborate with subcontractors, engineers, architects and key team members of the project team.
• Plan construction operations.
• Ensure all deadlines are met.
• Hire contractors and staff, including construction labourers.
• Allocate and manage resources to ensure that they are available when they are needed throughout the construction projects.
• Conduct site checks and quality control documents to be included in weekly reports.

• Have excellent communication, interpersonal skills and negotiation skills.
• Be a team player.
• Be motivated and enjoy working in Construction.
• Be highly organised.
• Be tech-savvy and have good computer skills.
• Have excellent time management ability.
• Good knowledge of construction materials and processes.
• Be able to multitask with a strong understanding of core managerial duties.
• Work in the Mayo / Galway area.
