Your new company

A well-established construction firm with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality residential, commercial, and civil engineering projects across Munster. With a growing pipeline of work in the Cork region, the company is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead site operations and ensure successful project delivery.

Your new role

As Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all on-site activities, ensuring that projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the required quality standards. You will manage subcontractors, coordinate with suppliers, and liaise with the project team to maintain smooth site operations.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Managing day-to-day site activities and supervising site personnel.
  • Ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations and company policies.
  • Monitoring project progress and reporting to senior management.
  • Coordinating materials, equipment, and subcontractor schedules.
  • Maintaining accurate site records and documentation.
  • Resolving any issues or delays that may arise during construction.

What you'll need to succeed

  • A construction-related qualification (e.g., Construction Management, Civil Engineering).
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Site Manager role within the Irish construction industry.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage subcontractors and site teams effectively.
  • Excellent understanding of construction processes, safety standards, and building regulations.
  • Full driving licence and flexibility to travel to various sites if required.
