Site Manager – Residential Development – Wicklow Based

Your new role
As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations on their construction site. You will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality. You will work under the Project Manager and work with the client to ensure all targets are met from shell to completion and form part of a cohesive and dynamic delivery team carrying out projects across numerous sectors.
Your key responsibilities will include:
· Managing and supervising all on-site activities, including subcontractors and suppliers.
· Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
· Coordinating with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure smooth project execution.
· Monitoring project progress and preparing regular reports for senior management.
· Resolving any issues or conflicts that arise on-site in a timely and effective manner.
· Conducting regular site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications.
· Managing site documentation, including contracts, permits, and safety records.
· Leading and motivating the site team to achieve project goals and maintain high standards of quality construction
What you'll need to succeed
· A degree in a construction-related field or come from a trade background.
· Proven experience as a Site Manager, preferably in residential construction.
· Strong leadership and management skills.
· Excellent knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and best practices.
· Longevity in previous roles is desired.
· Ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering drawings.
· Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Proficiency in project management software and MS Office.
· A valid driving licence and the ability to travel to various sites if required.
