Your new role

As Site Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day‑to‑day running of a residential construction site. You will oversee all on‑site activities to ensure the project is delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Site Manager looking to join a stable, reputable contractor with strong career prospects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing all on-site construction activities from groundworks through to handover.
  • Leading and supervising subcontractors, trades, and site personnel.
  • Ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations and maintaining site documentation.
  • Monitoring programme schedules, identifying risks, and ensuring milestones are achieved.
  • Coordinating materials, deliveries, and equipment.
  • Conducting quality checks and resolving any construction issues promptly.
  • Liaising with Project Managers, Engineers, QS teams, and clients.
  • Managing site reports, progress updates, and ensuring project records are accurate.


What you'll need to succeed

  • Minimum 4–5 years’ experience as a Site Manager on residential projects (housing or apartments).
  • Strong understanding of modern construction methods, building regulations, and H&S compliance.
  • Proven ability to manage subcontractors and drive progress on site.
  • Excellent organisational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and technical specifications.
  • Relevant construction qualifications (e.g., Construction Management, Engineering, Trade background).
  • Valid Safe Pass and other site‑related certifications.
