A Site Manager is required for a large fit-out project in Athlone.

Fit Out Site Manager, Athlone
Our client is one of Ireland’s top 20 building contractors with work across the country. They are now looking to recruit a Site Manager for a Fit-Out project in the Athlone region. As a Tier 1 contractor, this is an opportunity to join one of the busier contractors in Ireland and this is a great opportunity for long-term employment and career progression.
Job Requirements:
- You must have at least 10 years’ experience with a large main contractor and have previous experience of managing large projects to tight deadlines and to a very high standard.
- You will need experience of working on large-scale projects within the pharma /medical devices/data centre sectors or similar.
- Oversee the internal fit out of a major multi-million construction project.
- Manage all materials on site, making sure materials are correct and ordered on time.
- Report directly to Project Manager.
- Ability to work to specified deadlines.
- Ensure all aspects of Health and Safety are followed and adhered to.
- Carry out site inspections.
- Co-ordinate site meetings and file reporting for senior management.
- Ability to handle and execute client requests.
- Ensure that the companies' quality standards are met.
Job Specification:
- Fit Out / Joinery background.
- Experience of large Fit Out projects in Ireland or the UK.
- Full driving licence.
- Competent in Microsoft Office.
- Experience on pharma projects or similar is a benefit.
- Ability to manage and motivate site teams.
- Sound knowledge of standards and specifications.
