Your new role

As a Site Engineer, you will play a key role in the delivery of construction projects from start to finish. You will be responsible for setting out, surveying, and overseeing day-to-day site operations. Working closely with the site management team, subcontractors, and suppliers, you will ensure that works are carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with design specifications and project timelines.

Key duties include:
  • Setting out and surveying works on site.
  • Monitoring and reporting on progress, quality, and safety.
  • Liaising with design teams, clients, and subcontractors.
  • Maintaining accurate site records and documentation.
  • Assisting in the preparation of method statements and risk assessments.

What you'll need to succeed

  • A degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a site engineering role, ideally within civil or building projects.
  • Strong technical knowledge and ability to interpret drawings and specifications.
  • Proficiency in surveying equipment and software (e.g., Total Station, AutoCAD).
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and teamwork.
