Your new company

A well-established construction and development firm with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality residential and commercial projects across Munster. With a growing portfolio in the Cork region, the company is expanding its site team and is now seeking a motivated and experienced Site Engineer to join its operations.


Your new role

As Site Engineer, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of construction projects. You will be responsible for setting out, surveying, and overseeing daily site activities, ensuring that works are carried out in accordance with design specifications, safety standards, and project timelines.
Key responsibilities include:
  • Setting out and surveying works on site using GPS and Total Station.
  • Coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, and the site management team.
  • Monitoring quality control and ensuring compliance with drawings and specifications.
  • Maintaining accurate site records and reporting progress to the Project Manager.
  • Assisting with health and safety documentation and method statements.

What you'll need to succeed

  • A degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a site engineering role, ideally within residential or commercial construction.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and surveying equipment.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Full driving licence and flexibility to travel to various sites if required.
