Our client, a leading civil engineering and concrete‑frame contractor, is looking for an experienced shuttering carpenter to join their team. They deliver large‑scale infrastructure, commercial builds, and reinforced concrete structures, offering long‑term stability and well‑organised sites.

Your new role

• Construct and install formwork and shutters for reinforced concrete structures
• Read and work from technical drawings, plans, and specifications
• Build and dismantle shutters for columns, walls, slabs, beams, foundations, and staircases
• Ensure all work meets structural and safety standards
• Collaborate with site engineers, steel fixers, and other trades

What you'll need to succeed

• Proven experience as a Shuttering Carpenter
• Strong understanding of formwork systems (traditional & system formwork)
• Ability to interpret drawings accurately
• CSCS card required
• Own tools and PPE
• Reliable, safety‑focused, and able to work as part of a busy site team
