Senior Civil/Structural Engineer

Hays have been retained to recruit a Senior Structural Engineer for our client, a well-known Engineering Consultancy based just outside of Cork City.

The role

As an employee of this company, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of construction and engineering. Below is a glimpse of what you will be responsible for:

• Working on a number of various projects ranging in size and value from beginning to completion.
• Site Visits.
• Liaise with suppliers regarding technical matters.
• Technical presentations.
• Ensuring compliance with Eurocodes standards.
• Production of detailed documentation.
• Working as part of the Civil/Structural team.

The person

• Experience with an Irish-based consultancy.
• Minimum 8 years' experience in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• Third level qualification.
• Based in Cork.
• Fluent English essential.
• Experience with AutoCAD/Revit an advantage but not essential.
• Good communication skills.
• Understanding of engineering principles and construction.
• Confident and ambitious, with the willingness to progress on a long-term basis.
