Your new employer is a well-established engineering and project delivery consultancy specialising in the design, management and supervision of complex building projects for Irish and international clients.
Operating primarily within the industrial sector, they support leading pharmaceutical companies with high-quality engineering and project management expertise. With decades of experience, they have built strong client relationships and a reputation for successfully delivering projects in both new and existing facilities.
Their multidisciplinary capabilities span CSA and MEP engineering, as well as project management and quantity surveying, offering clients a fully integrated project delivery service.

Role Details:
  • Location: Dublin 02, travel to client’s premises required
  • Salary Range: €55,000 - €65,000, considering experience
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 17:15 pm

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development of civil and structural designs on small to medium-scale projects
  • Produce full design calculations and drawings using hand calculations and appropriate computer software. Manage small to medium-sized projects or defined project packages from design through delivery
  • Contribute to project planning, programme management, and coordination of deliverables
  • Liaise with architects, engineers, CAD/Revit technicians, and other consultants during design development.
  • Prepare and contribute to tender documentation and technical reports
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior and graduate engineers
  • Prioritise workload effectively and deliver projects to agreed deadlines.

Qualifications:
  • Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering
  • Minimum 5–8 years’ relevant professional experience in an engineering consultancy or similar environment
  • Chartered Engineer (Engineers Ireland, ICE, or IStructE), or actively working towards chartership
  • Understanding of project delivery, budget, and programme.
  • Full working knowledge of British Standards and Eurocodes for Concrete, Steel, Masonry, and Timber
  • Strong understanding of Irish Building Regulations and construction practices
  • Proficiency in using computer software and being capable of preparing detailed technical designs & drawings to an exceptional standard
  • Proficiency in structural analysis and design software, such as: TEKLA, Tedds, Robot, STAAD Pro, QSE or similar

  • Strong technical competence and proven design leadership ability
  • Ability to prepare detailed technical designs and drawings to an exceptional standard
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (fluent in English)
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Ability to prioritise workload and work to tight deadlines
  • Self-motivated with strong attention to detail
  • Confident working with clients and multidisciplinary design teams
