Senior QC Analyst

Role: Senior Quality Control (QC) Analyst
Location: Little Island, Cork (Onsite)
Duration: 12 months

At Hays, we are working with a leading pharmaceutical company in Cork that is hiring a QC Analyst.
This position is responsible for carrying out tasks and projects related to equipment, lab utilities and testing procedures as required by GMP. Partners with other Departments to ensure that all QC testing activities are completed in an efficient manner.

Duties and Responsibilities
Be an active member of the QC group and participate in the following key activities:
  • QC Material Release & Scheduling Activities.
  • QC Key Performance Indicators.
  • QC Training – Personal competency & Team development
  • QC Documentation Review & Approval
  • Site Cross-Functional Team’s
  • Comply with EHS rules and procedures.
  • Delivers the department's Goals & Objectives & Continuous Improvement initiatives.
  • Support relevant internal and external site audits as required.
  • Maintains and develops knowledge of analytical methods, technology and compliance demands
  • Foster a culture of quality, safety and compliance across the site.

Education and Experience:
  • Third level Degree in a science or pharmaceutical discipline.
  • Min 3–5 years exp as a Microbiology QC Analyst in a quality or compliance role within the pharmaceutical industry.
