Your new role:
You will be responsible for delivering and governing the Financial Crime Platform, ensuring the successful execution of initiatives across AML (Anti-Money Laundering), Fraud, and Sanctions. This role drives the transformation of the operating model through investment in Financial Crime technology architecture, enhancing controls, streamlining processes, and enabling efficient resource redeployment. The role also focuses on transitioning Financial Crime change initiatives into a unified platform structure, ensuring consistent governance, prioritisation, and delivery efficiency.

Roles & Responsibilities:
  • A Platform consists of a collection of themed projects and initiatives that are owned by a single owner and managed from a delivery perspective by the Senior Project Manager. This role relates to the Financial Crime Platform which requires the Platform Lead to multitask across several AML, Faud and Sanctions related initiative and their deliverables.
  • The initiatives of the Platforms projects / initiatives often require engagement with multiple different stakeholders but are all managed under a single governed structure (the Platform) aligned to the change methodology including- Reporting, Planning, RAID, finances and Benefits management. As an enduring delivery mechanism the Platform will have a backlog of initiatives that will often require the Platform Lead to manage prioritisation with consideration for resource capacity and costs.
  • At more detailed level the Senior Project will have responsibility for all Business Cases (CCD’s), steering meetings (& packs) and active management of the steering and the outputs/actions from them. Ability to speak to the platform and individual project objectives and be accountable of where it goes wrong. Responsible for Value Management Committee (VMC) inputs and outcomes and actions which relates to a quarterly business cases for funding.
  • Ensuring that standard PMBox governance occurs across all projects including Risk management, POAP, RAID logs and other key artefacts.
  • Lead a lessons learned / look back for each project and take those learnings into the other projects within the platforms. Actively manage change requests and related logs – individual PMs on initiatives will manage this more closely.
  • Manage all clarity financials and ensure that no breaches occur. Liaise with Finance Centre of Excellence to ensure that all budgetary matters are effectively managed and escalated in a timely fashion where appropriate.
