Senior Project Architect role | Cork

Your new company

A well-established design house with a strong pipeline of projects across commercial, residential, healthcare, education and mixed-use sectors is seeking an experienced Senior Project Architect to join its growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an architect who enjoys delivering high-quality projects from planning through to completion. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing project delivery, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, overseeing tender processes, and ensuring successful project execution on site.


Your new role

As a Senior Project Architect, you will be responsible for leading projects through the technical and delivery stages, ensuring quality, programme and budget objectives are achieved.

Key responsibilities include:

Leading projects from planning and technical design through tender and construction stages.
Producing and overseeing high-quality technical documentation and construction drawing packages.
Managing project programmes, resources and deliverables.
Coordinating multidisciplinary design teams, consultants and contractors.
Preparing and managing tender documentation and attending tender interviews where required.
Administering construction contracts and overseeing project delivery on site.
Conducting site inspections and resolving technical issues during construction.
Acting as the primary point of contact for clients throughout project delivery.
Mentoring junior team members and contributing to the overall success of the practice.


What you'll need to succeed

Degree in Architecture with Part III qualification preferred, although strong Part II candidates will also be considered.
Minimum 7+ years' post-graduate experience within an architectural practice.
Strong experience delivering projects through technical, tender and construction stages.
Excellent knowledge of Irish Building Regulations and construction detailing.
Proven project management and client-facing experience.
Experience coordinating consultants and managing project stakeholders.
Strong technical proficiency in Revit and associated design software.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
