Hays has been retained to recruit a Senior Mechanical Building Services Engineer for our client, a leading Cork-based M&E consultancy.

Your new role

As a Senior Mechanical Building Services Engineer, you will take a leading role in the design and delivery of mechanical services installations across healthcare, educational, and commercial office projects. You’ll collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, ensuring innovative, efficient, and sustainable solutions. This position offers the opportunity to apply your technical expertise, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to projects that make a real impact on communities.

What you'll need to succeed

• Preference will be given to candidates who meet the requirements and are chartered / working towards chartership. In addition, preference will be given to candidates that can demonstrate working experience of Revit BIM software in the relevant field.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Degree in Building Services Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of +5 years experience of designing mechanical services installations, preferably in healthcare, educational and commercial office sectors.
• Full, clean driving licence and access to own transport.
