This organisation are a market leader within the construction contracting industry. With their head office based centrally in Dublin, and projects spanning not only Ireland but across the EMEA region, they are seeking an experienced Senior Financial accountant to join the team.
This role calls for 5 Years PQE+ within the EMEA market, ideally within the construction industry or similar.

This organisation are a market leader within the construction contracting industry. With their head office based centrally in Dublin, and projects spanning not only Ireland but across the EMEA region, they are seeking an experienced Senior Financial accountant to join the team.
This role calls for 5 Years PQE+ within the EMEA market, ideally within the construction industry or similar.
Your new role
You will work directly with the FC on a daily basis, among a team of 7 within finance. Duties include but not limited to :
- Managing P&L, cashflow and monthly management accounts
- Preparing and analysing budgets and forecasts
- Tracking capex and supporting capital projects from early stages
- Working closely with project managers on budgeting and performance
- Balance sheet reconciliations and intercompany accounts
- VAT, RCT and tax compliance
- Preparing audit packs and supporting external/internal audits
- Monthly reporting and ad‑hoc analysis
- Supporting an upcoming ERP finance system implementation
The role suits someone who enjoys ownership, variety and working in a fast‑moving environment.
What you'll need to succeed
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
- Ideally 5 years’ PQE
- Strong technical grounding in P&L, cashflow and management accounts
- Experience within the industry is a distinct advantage.
- Project sorting experience
- Systems savvy — Navision and sage desired
- A proactive, adaptable personality who enjoys a youthful, collaborative team
- Ability to work well on your own initiative
- Commercially focused mindset
