Finance Manager Job - Tech Company - Hybrid working job South Dublin

Your new company
An Irish international software services company, based in South Dublin. They work with the biggest clients (billions in turnover) and have had huge rapid organic growth in the last 5 years (5x growth). They are a sales-oriented company looking for someone with drive and ambition to join the finance team and take over responsibility for AP/AR line management, management accounts, audit and tax compliance.

Your new role
You will be joining a finance team of 6 people, with 3 direct reports for this role across AR & AP. The goal is to hire someone technically strong to take ownership of monthly management accounts, audit and tax compliance and streamline month end to free up the finance team to work on more strategic projects.

Your duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
  • Management of 3 direct reports, ensuring accuracy across AR and AP
  • Deliver monthly management accounts and insights for senior management, presenting information visually via PowerBI and driving the implementation of powerBI in this regard
  • Process improvement with a focus to streamline month end from 10 to 5 days
  • FP&A duties to include budgeting and forecasting, financial modelling and scenario planning
  • Revenue analysis, trends analysis and review of costs to report on profitability and make strategic recommendations on how to improve
  • Support the Group Financial Controller on the annual audit process, compliance and risk management.
  • Manage tax compliance across different regions to include the US, Australia and Germany, coordinating with local advisors on deadlines and requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Operations, Technology) to support business cases, pricing strategies, and investment decisions
  • Ensure financial data integrity and adherence to internal controls and accounting standards.


What you'll need to succeed
You will be a fully qualified accountant, with the following experience:
  • 2+ years in a people management capacity
  • 7+ years experience overall, particularly in a fast-paced and sales-oriented environment
  • PowerBI proficient - lived experience is a must
  • Really ambitious and driven to progress your career
  • Proven experience of managing international stakeholders and deadlines
  • Software industry experience a huge plus
