Senior Finance role for an experienced leader with strong reporting, analysis & business partnering skills

Leading Irish organisation with a national remit require an experienced Finance Professional to join their senior financial management team.

Reporting to the Head of Finance, supervising a team of experienced Accountants and Finance Business Partners, you will be responsible for reporting on revenue in 3 key areas.
The role involves revenue reporting, accounting, planning and forecasting, whilst working closely with the billings/customer accounts teams.

Key Tasks will include
  • Manage revenue accounting, ensuring revenue and associated cost streams are separately identified, accounted for and accrued correctly
  • Drive and lead the revenue reporting team
  • Setting and controlling the budget, forecasting and business plans
  • Working closely with internal stakeholders in monitoring KPI’s
  • Responsible for all the month-end transaction postings relating to Revenue
  • Manage and account for all costs associated with the Order to cash process
  • Review, participation and understanding of the financial details contained in contracts.
  • Scenario planning in relation to pricing
  • Process improvement and systems implementation
  • Business Partnering with key stakeholders to ensure that all revenue and associated costs are recorded appropriately and captured in the annual planning and forecasting process.
  • Liaison with external stakeholders and regulatory bodies
  • Present periodic performance reports to the senior management team, including analytics and commentary on performance versus planned budget, KPIs, and identification of variances.
  • Monitor, control and strengthen governance over the order to cash cycle
  • Lead the valuation of debtor balances and establish a process/policy for calculating the bad debt provision.
  • Liaising with external auditors
To be considered for this high profile role, you must be a Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with 10 years+ pqe and have recent senior management experience; be a proven leader with excellent stakeholder management skills. Ideally, you will have worked in a large structured organisation and possess revenue reporting/management and business partnering experience.

Salary 100K–125K (depending on experience)
Benefits include car allowance, bonus, pension, 24 days annual leave + company days, hybrid working (2 days in the office), professional membership fees paid.
