Senior Engineer / Site Manager - North or South Dublin - Lucrative Financial Package

Your new company

Your new organisation is a well-established, third generation construction company with a turnover close to €200m. They are known for delivering high‑quality residential and commercial projects across Leinster. As they continue to grow, they are seeking an experienced Senior Engineer/Site Manager to lead the delivery of a new apartment development from initial groundworks through to handover.


Your new role

The role is to be based on either a North Dublin or South Dublin development – two sites are hiring. This can be paid on a salary or hourly rate – both options are lucrative.

They are looking for a highly organised, technically strong, and team‑oriented Senior Engineer / Site Manager who can drive the project to the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. This is an exciting opportunity to take a lead role in a flagship development within a reputable, expanding company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage day‑to‑day site operations, ensuring the project progresses according to programme, budget, and quality expectations.
  • Oversee engineering activities such as setting out, surveying, and quality checks.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Maintain strict adherence to health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Track progress and prepare site reports, documentation, and records.
  • Communicate effectively with company management, design teams, and local authorities.
  • Solve on‑site challenges proactively, providing technical guidance where required.
  • Ensure compliance with building regulations, specifications, and industry best practices


What you'll need to succeed

  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field – preferred.
  • 5+ years’ experience in a Senior Engineer or Site Manager role, preferably in large scale residential construction.
  • Strong knowledge of setting‑out, surveying, and technical construction practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational abilities.
  • Proven track record delivering medium‑to‑large construction projects.
  • Full understanding of Irish building regulations, BCAR, and H&S legislation.
