Senior Credit Controller – North Cork | 18–24 Month FTC | Fully On-site

Your new role

Reporting to the Credit Manager, duties will include (not limited to):
  • Maximising cash flow through the collection of outstanding invoices.
  • Reviewing customer contractual information.
  • Assisting with the timely allocation of monies received.
  • Monitoring accounts and identifying potential issues that may impact payment.
  • Preparing accurate and timely reports for senior management.
  • Producing weekly debtors reports.
  • Resolving customer queries efficiently and professionally.
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders and legal representatives to assist with issue resolution.
  • Supporting the identification and management of credit risk.
  • Contributing to process improvements and departmental efficiencies.
  • Ensuring procedures and controls are maintained and adhered to.
  • Managing daily escalated customer matters.
  • Working closely with the wider business to support customer relationships and business objectives.
  • Maintaining a strong focus on corporate governance and compliance.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Membership of IICM or a similar professional body.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems.
  • Experience using online banking platforms.
  • Knowledge of corporate governance principles.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Leadership capability.
  • Technical accounting and credit management expertise.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
  • Relevant industry knowledge.
