Your new role

• Managing civil engineering projects from concept to completion.
• Designing SuDS features, foul drainage and watermains systems in accordance with national and local standards.
• Preparing planning reports, engineering services reports and flood risk assessments.
• Producing tender and construction designs, drawings and specifications.
• Conducting BCAR inspections and liaising with contractors during construction.
• Engaging with Local Authorities, statutory bodies and multidisciplinary design teams.
• Supporting the successful delivery of upcoming residential, commercial, public sector, industrial, heritage and infrastructure projects.
• You will play a key role in strengthening client relationships and representing the consultancy at meetings and public engagements.

What you'll need to succeed

• Honours Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng MIEI) or working towards chartership.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience working in an engineering consultancy.
• Strong knowledge of water, drainage and road design standards from planning through construction.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, drainage modelling software, and road design software.
• Full driving licence and transport.
• Experience preparing planning documents and responding to planning conditions.
• Strong understanding of BCAR processes and site inspection requirements.
• Ability to manage projects independently while collaborating effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
