Your new role

This role is for a Senior Business Analyst responsible for managing the Business Impact Assessment (BIA) related to the PSD3/PSR Regulatory Directive. The BIA is a vital process that helps organisations assess the potential operational, technological, financial, and reputational impacts of regulatory changes or new initiatives. It enables proactive planning, risk mitigation, and strategic alignment across business units.
The successful candidate will lead the BIA process using a structured framework, working closely with stakeholders across the organisation to ensure accurate, timely, and comprehensive assessments. Prior experience conducting BIAs, particularly in the context of PSD2 or similar regulatory programmes, and familiarity with Financial Crime, Payments, Open Banking, and Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) processes, will be highly advantageous.

What you'll need to succeed

    – Strong understanding of PSD2, PSD3, and PSR1 directives and their business implications.
  • Payments & Fraud Knowledge
    – Familiarity with payment schemes, open banking, fraud prevention, and data interface enhancements.
  • Business Impact Assessment (BIA)
    – Proven experience conducting BIAs and assessing cross-functional impacts.
  • Stakeholder Engagement
    – Ability to communicate effectively and manage relationships across business units.
  • Analytical Thinking
    – Skilled in reviewing, validating, and challenging data and assumptions.
  • Project Planning
    – Experience in managing discovery phases, tracking progress, and escalating blockers.
  • Risk & Assurance Collaboration
    – Understanding of 1LOD and 2LOD roles and operational risk frameworks.
  • Communication & Documentation
    – Capable of simplifying regulatory language and producing clear, actionable outputs.

What you'll get in return

Excellent on the job and learning opportunities. You will be joining a diverse and inclusive company whose customers and employees are at the forefront of everything they do. You will receive a very competitive hourly rate with an annual holiday accrual.
