One of Ireland’s largest financial companies with over 200 locations nationwide, which provides a diverse range of services in banking, financial, IT and related services, is currently seeking Senior Business Analyst at Central Park, Dublin-18.

Your new role
This role is for a Senior Business Analyst responsible for managing the Business Impact Assessment (BIA) activity related to the PSD3/PSR Regulatory Directive. Experience with PSD2, and knowledge of Financial Crime, Payments, Open Banking, and Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) processes will be a distinct advantage.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Review the new regulation to ensure a comprehensive understanding, then produce an explanation document tailored for business users. This document should simplify regulatory language and clearly outline key business impacts.
  2. Distribute the BIA to all relevant stakeholders, set up calls as needed to explain the requirements, provide guidance on completing the template, and set out timelines.
  3. Track timely completion of returns by each business area, capture queries, and ensure these are addressed promptly.
  4. Review and validate the information provided, identify inconsistencies, and ensure the accuracy and completeness of the BIA.
  5. Engage with first and second lines of defence (1LOD and 2LOD) to complete BIA assurance activities.
  6. Facilitate workshops with stakeholders, prepare inputs, produce outputs, and track actions and decisions.
  7. Collaborate with the Platform Lead to produce a plan for the BIA activity, track and report progress against that plan, and escalate blockers in a timely manner.
What you'll need to succeed
  1. Regulatory Analysis & Interpretation – Ability to review, interpret, and simplify complex regulatory requirements (especially PSD2/PSD3, PSR) for business stakeholders.
  2. Business Impact Assessment (BIA) Expertise – Proven experience in conducting, validating, and managing BIAs within the financial services sector, including risk identification and mitigation.
  3. Stakeholder Engagement & Communication – Strong skills in engaging with cross-functional teams, facilitating workshops, explaining requirements, and producing clear, business-friendly documentation.
  4. Project Management & Coordination – Experience in planning, tracking, and reporting on BIA activities, ensuring timely completion, and escalating issues as needed.
  5. Knowledge of Financial Crime, Payments, and Open Banking – Understanding of financial crime prevention, payments processes, Open Banking, and Strong Customer Authentication (SCA) to assess business impacts effectively.

What you'll get in return
An opportunity to develop valuable skills in banking, financial, IT and related services which includes experience in a dynamic, team-oriented workplace.
