Senior Building Services Engineer - Ireland

Your new role

As a Building Services Engineer, you will play a key role in the delivery of building services projects from concept through to completion. You will be heavily involved on site, working directly with clients, contractors and project teams, ensuring designs are implemented to a high standard and perform in practice.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Attending site visits and acting as a primary point of contact for clients

  • Delivering mechanical and electrical building services design

  • Coordinating HVAC and sustainability design across multiple projects

  • Participating in multidisciplinary design teams

  • Supporting BIM coordination and IES modelling activities

  • Reviewing installations on site to ensure quality, compliance and adherence to standards

  • Supporting projects through all stages of delivery

  • Building and maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships


What you'll need to succeed

  • 8+ years experience in Building Services, Mechanical or Sustainability Engineering

  • Strong, proven site experience (essential)

  • Confidence in client-facing and on-site environments

  • Degree-qualified (Level 8) in Engineering (Building Services, Mechanical or Sustainability)

  • Full Irish driving licence with access to a car

  • Excellent communication and coordination skills

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively

  • Chartered Engineer status is desirable, but not essential.

Important requirements :
You must be currently based in Ireland.
You must have valid work permission (Stamp 1G, Stamp 4, or Irish/EU citizenship)
Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
