Senior Architect – Limerick

Your new role
- Lead the design process across all phases of the project
- Maintain ongoing client engagement throughout the project lifecycle
- Coordinate and liaise with the Design Team at every stage.
- Develop project delivery programmes, plan resource requirements, and communicate needs to the Directors.
- Ensure full compliance with the client’s brief, Irish Planning and Building Regulations, Health & Safety legislation, and other relevant statutory requirements
- Provide leadership and direction aligned with the values and standards of the practice.
- Supervise support staff throughout the project, with regular review of resource allocation
- Assess team and individual strengths, identify development needs, and implement appropriate training or support
- Manage projects to ensure efficiency and profitability
- Travel to other offices and project sites as required
What you need to succeed
Our client is looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional who meets the following criteria:
- At least 10 years of post-qualification experience and registered with the RIAI
- Strong design, presentation, and project management abilities
- Self-motivated with a proactive mindset and strong initiative
- Demonstrated experience in leading and coordinating full Design Teams
- Comprehensive understanding of Irish Planning and Building Regulations, Building Control processes, and Health & Safety legislation
- Proficient in AutoCAD; experience with Revit is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Full driving licence and access to a vehicle
