Your new role
- Lead and support architectural projects from initial concept through design development, construction, and final handover.
- Play an active role in onsite project delivery, including conducting inspections, coordinating with contractors, addressing RFIs, and assisting with contract administration.
- Develop and review high-quality technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation.
- Ensure all design work aligns with Irish Planning requirements, Building Regulations, Building Control legislation, and relevant industry standards.
- Collaborate effectively with structural, MEP, fire, acoustic, and other specialist consultants.
- Support and mentor junior architects and architectural staff, as appropriate.
- Contribute to feasibility assessments, planning submissions, and regulatory documentation.
- Manage multiple projects concurrently, prioritising tasks and meeting deadlines efficiently.
- Communicate confidently with clients and stakeholders, representing the organisation with professionalism and clarity.
What you'll need to succeed
- Registered Architect with RIAI or RIBA.
- Proven, hands-on experience in site-based and construction-phase project delivery.
- Strong background in both design development and technical project execution.
- Demonstrated experience delivering architectural projects within Ireland.
- Excellent knowledge of the Irish Planning System, Building Regulations, Building Control, and associated Technical Guidance Documents.
- High level of proficiency in Revit and BIM workflows within a digital design environment.
- Strong graphic, design, and detailing abilities.
- Ability to work independently while positively contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- Experience in sectors such as aviation, industrial, education, or transportation is highly desirable.
