Senior Architect – Pathway to Associate Director
Location: Kildare (full-time office based with flexible working hours)
Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: €70,000+ (DOE)


Your new company

Our client is a well-established architectural and design consultancy practice operating across Ireland. Known for delivering high-quality, client-focused solutions across a range of residential, commercial and industrial projects, they are expanding their leadership team and seeking a Senior Architect with the ambition and capability to step into an Associate Director role.


Your new role

As a Senior Architect, you will lead design projects from concept through to completion, working closely with clients, consultants, and internal teams. You’ll lead a team preparing planning applications, oversee construction detailing, site inspections and ensuring compliance with Irish building regulations. This role offers a clear pathway to Associate Director, where you’ll contribute to strategic planning, business development, and mentoring junior staff / building your own team.


What you'll need to succeed

  • Minimum 7 years’ post-qualification experience in architectural practice.
  • Proven experience leading residential and commercial projects within the Irish Market.
  • Strong understanding of Irish planning and building regulations.
  • Excellent design, technical, and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Software, AutoCAD and Revit along with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • A driving licence and your own transport are essential.
  • RIAI registration is essential.
