Senior Angular Developer - CONTRACT (EU citizens/ Stamp4/ Uk citizens)

6-Month contract
EU Citizen / UK citizen / Stamp 4
Hybrid (3 days onsite 2 days w.f.h)

Your new company
You will be joining the largest financial bank based in the heart of Dublin city. Well-established with a strong technical team here in Ireland, they have a growing team working with the cutting edge of technologies based in the financial markets.

Your new role

  • Design, build, and sustain web interfaces leveraging Angular technology.
  • Partner with backend teams to integrate APIs and ensure smooth data flow.
  • Develop responsive UI components using HTML5, CSS3/SASS, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks.
  • Validate UI/UX design feasibility and provide recommendations for enhancement.
  • Uphold code quality through unit testing, code reviews, and adherence to best practices.
  • Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily standups, and retrospectives.
  • Support junior team members through mentoring and knowledge sharing.


What you'll need to succeed

  • 7 to 10 years of professional software development experience, including 4–5 years specialising in Angular development.
  • Proficient with Angular (ideally version 15+), TypeScript, RxJS, and component-driven design.
  • Strong skills in HTML5, CSS3/SASS/LESS, and responsive design techniques.
  • Experience integrating RESTful APIs into front-end applications.
  • Familiarity with version control workflows, especially Git.
  • Solid understanding of cross-browser compatibility challenges and solutions.
  • Comfortable with modern front-end tooling and build systems (Webpack, npm, Angular CLI).
  • Effective communicator capable of engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven track record working within Agile/Scrum teams
  • Experience developing software systems with demanding availability, compliance, or security considerations.
  • Knowledge of unit testing frameworks like Jasmine and Karma.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
  • Awareness of accessibility standards and performance tuning strategies.
  • Experience with UI component libraries such as AGGRID or PrimeNG.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor or lead other developers.
