Senior Accountant, Limerick

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join their growing team. This is a newly created role offering exposure to a diverse and exciting client base, including touring artists, songwriters, record labels, and management companies.

We are looking for a qualified accountant (ATI, ACCA, or ACA) with strong all-round accounting experience and a solid foundation in audit. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, highly organised, and an excellent communicator, with the ability to build trusted, long-term relationships with clients.


Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare tour accounts, budgets, and cashflow forecasts in a timely manner

  • Assist with quarterly management accounts and annual statutory reporting

  • Ensure company secretarial compliance

  • Complete and file tax returns, including VAT, PAYE, Corporation Tax, Withholding Tax, and Personal Tax

  • Act as a key point of contact, liaising with clients and their teams

  • Manage client administration, including invoicing and supporting bank account applications


Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in an accountancy practice (experience in the music or entertainment industry is an advantage)

  • ATI qualified or fully qualified ACCA/ACA

  • Strong knowledge of:
    QuickBooks Online
    Sage Accounts Production
    Revenue Online Service (ROS)
    Thesaurus Payroll

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office Suite

  • Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving ability

  • A self-starter with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
