Senior Accountant job - High Growth Irish Firm - Manufacturing Industry

Your new role

You will act as 'second-in-command' to the Head of Finance within a small finance function. You will co-ordinate the month-end process producing management accounts, cashflow forecasts, budgeting, financial analysis of costs and variances etc. You will also be responsible for all financial reporting of a smaller international entity. In addition, you will gain management exposure as you will be tasked with co-ordinating AP and AR functions in time. As the company continues to grow, you will be given other ad-hoc duties across the business from an operational and commercial point of view.

What you'll need to succeed

You must be a fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA) and have at least 2-3 years post-qualified experience preferably in a similar industry. You will have exposure to producing month-end management accounts in a fast-paced SME environment and will have excellent financial reporting skills. You must also be an effective team player as well as retaining the ability to work autonomously. In addition, strong communication skills are a must as you will be required to play a central role in the organisation with many stakeholders outside of the finance function.
