Your new role

• Lead finance operations and month‑end reporting.

• Maintain all reconciliations (bank, balance sheet, ledgers)

• Manage fixed assets, audits and compliance.

• Oversee cashflow, treasury and forecasting.

• Play an integral role in project costing

• Submit VAT returns and RCT

• Ensure accurate GL postings and cost control.

• Maintain customer/supplier master data.

• Manage staff payroll via Sage payroll on a monthly basis

• Manage and develop a team

• Support Group finance projects and process improvements.

What you'll need to succeed

• Fully qualified accountant with at least 5 + years working in industry, preferable an SME operating in the construction industry.

• Strong financial control, reporting and reconciliation experience.

• Experience using Sage in previous roles

• Confident communicator who builds strong relationships.
• Able to influence and partner across departments.
• Strong people management and coaching mindset.
• High attention to detail with a solutions-focused approach.
• Excellent planner with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
