Senior Accountant

Your new company
A growing international group currently undergoing a major financial transformation. The organisation is integrating reporting processes across multiple entities and exploring new platforms such as Power BI and AI to enhance the quality, consistency, and efficiency of its commercial and financial reporting. The finance team is forward‑thinking, collaborative, and focused on building a modern reporting environment that will continue to evolve over the coming months and years.

Your new role
  • Take full ownership of commercial and group reporting across multiple entities
  • Lead the preparation of monthly management accounts and supporting schedules
  • Consolidate financial information from business units and ensure accuracy across all reports
  • Produce weekly and monthly cash‑flow forecasts
  • Support annual budgeting and forecasting cycles
  • Extract, analyse, and validate data using Excel and Jet Reports
  • Manage manual reporting processes and drive improvements as systems evolve
  • Play a key role in transitioning reporting into Power BI and Lucanet
  • Support FP&A activities, including variance analysis and commercial insights
  • Assist with statutory and regulatory reporting requirements
  • Support the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors
  • Oversee and administer local legal entities as required
What you'll need to succeed
  • ACA or ACCA qualification with 3+ years’ post‑qualification experience
  • Strong commercial and financial reporting experience
  • Exposure to FP&A or commercial finance activities is an advantage
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to extract meaningful insights from financial data
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment with shifting priorities
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across finance and non‑finance teams
  • Strong attention to detail and professional integrity
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with Microsoft Dynamics, Power BI, and Jet Reports is an advantage
  • Experience in construction, manufacturing, or a multinational environment is beneficial
  • A second European language is an advantage but not essential
