Your new role

Your new role will be as part of the growing and continuously evolving global finance function who are all based out of the Limerick HQ. You will be primary focused on revenue recognition reporting and analysis in addition to statutory reporting and general ledger accounting duties. You will be tasked with finalising reporting for multiple entities across the globe and have knowledge of local GAAP reporting and SOX compliance. The finance team has grown over the last number of years and is very much a high-performance unit with the Senior Accountants working autonomously over each workflow stream. The role is expected to continue to grow and evolve as the company continues on it's growth trajectory.

What you'll need to succeed

You must be a fully qualified accountant with a recognised professional accreditation (ACA/ACCA/CPA/CIMA). You will have at least 2- 3 years PQE, preferably in a MNC environment or within a role where you were exposed to international accounting and reporting. A demonstrable in-depth knowledge of international accounting standards and principles such as IFRS15 and US and/or Canadian GAAP/SOX compliance is essential for this role also. As the role is autonomous and offers very flexible remote working options, you must be a self-starter with the initiative to complete tasks and foresee future issues and deal with them accordingly. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, is also essential for this role in particular due to the hybrid element of the role.
