• Operate and maintain treatment processes and network assets.
• Conduct routine maintenance and inspections.
• Take and analyse water/wastewater samples before and after treatment.
• Maintain stocks of materials, chemicals, tools, and critical spares.
• Respond to SCADA/telemetry alerts and system issues.
• Support the Customer Contact Centre with queries and issues.
• Supervise maintenance and repair works, ensuring quality and safety.
• Maintain site cleanliness and upkeep of buildings, fencing, and equipment.
• Participate in out-of-hours and standby work (overtime rates apply).
• Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures and regulations.
• Record site matters including incidents, near misses, and corrective actions.
• Update and maintain Safety Files and contribute to safety planning.

• Leaving Certificate or equivalent
• Full, clean Class B driving licence
• Experience working independently and in a team
• Strong IT skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Understanding of health & safety culture
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Manual Handling Certificate and Safe Pass (preferred)

• Certification in Water/Wastewater Treatment Plant Operations
• Water Services Training Group qualification
• Plumbing or Electrical skills/training
• Experience with SCADA or automated control systems
• Class C driving licence
