Your new role

As an RE, you'll be the senior technical presence on-site, ensuring projects are delivered safely, compliantly, and to the highest quality standards on behalf of the client.
You will be based predominantly on a large West Dublin development site, with time at home during the week for associated reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Represent the client across multiple infrastructure projects.
  • Liaise with developers, contractors, consultants, and local authorities.
  • Monitor infrastructure, construction work, quality, programme, and compliance.
  • Carry out inspections and oversee testing and commissioning activities.
  • Review technical submissions, method statements, and quality documentation.
  • Identify and resolve site issues while protecting the client's interests.
  • Ensure all works comply with relevant standards, specifications, and regulations


What you'll need to succeed

  • Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
  • 8+ years' experience across utilities, infrastructure, water, wastewater, or civil engineering projects.
  • Strong experience in construction supervision, inspection, and quality assurance.
  • Excellent stakeholder and developer management skills.
  • Chartered status or progress towards chartership desirable.
  • To have your own available transport.

What you'll get in return

In return for this, you will work on some m ajor national infrastructure projects, mainly large residential developments.
  • Your experience will determine your salary. This is up to €95,000 for the right person.
  • You will have 26 days annual leave, work a 37-hour working week and have 1–2 days per week working from home.
  • You will receive civil servant mileage for travel purposes.
